Lead Cook

Firewild On Main, a new all-day cafe & bar concept, located in the heart of the Elgin, TX Downtown Historic District, is interviewing for a Full-Time Lead Cook position. The Lead Cook prepares food, assists in BOH management and supports the Head Cook with procurement, receiving, menu planning, and general kitchen organization. The right candidate has skill, passion, playfulness, and focus. We aim to partner with a grounded, flexible team player with a passion for high quality local & sustainable sourcing, community engagement, environmental stewardship, and a friendly, outgoing nature.

This is a full-time position. Firewild On Main will soon begin operating Wednesday - Sunday for breakfast and lunch and expand from there. The Lead Cook will be scheduled during operating hours. Compensation is based on experience, with a starting range between $13 - $16. Other compensation perks include periodic performance and revenue-based bonuses, employee discounts and special events.
