Hospitalist Opportunity Clewiston, FL

Premier Physician Services is actively seeking an experienced Hospitalist to join our client's team in Clewiston, FL located just 1.5 hours from West Palm Beach and 1 hour 2o minutes from Fort Myers. This position offers a competitive daily rate, a manageable patient census, and a well-structured schedule with no overnight shifts.

Position Details

• Role: Hospitalist
  
• Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
• Hours: 8 AM - 6 PM (No Overnights)
• Patient Census: 12-15 patients per day
  
• Start Date: ASAP
• EMR System: CPSI

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for hospitalized patients.
• Conduct daily rounds, assess patient conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the CPSI EMR system.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active Florida medical license.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with CPSI EMR preferred, but training will be provided.
