Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.

Job Summary

The University College Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of a teaching fellowship program within a university, including managing applications, coordinating fellow schedules, facilitating communication between fellows and faculty mentors, overseeing program logistics, and ensuring compliance with program policies and deadlines, and oversee the student workers, all under the guidance of the program director.

Sponsorship is not available for this position.

This limited term position is funded through Title III sponsored funds. Continuation of employment is based upon availability of funds. Responsibilities

Administrative Tasks:

Answers phone lines, greets visitors, and collates and distributes mail.

Schedules appointments, meetings, and reservations.

Maintain comprehensive records of fellow information.

Track program budget, monitor expenditures, and prepare financial reports as needed.

Prepare program documentation such as reports, presentations, and updates for the program director and relevant university committees.

Communication and Collaboration :

Act as a primary point of contact for Teaching Fellows, faculty mentors, and other university stakeholders regarding program inquiries.

Facilitate communication between fellows and faculty mentors through regular meetings and email updates.

Program Logistics and Scheduling:

Develop and maintain a master schedule for fellow teaching assignments, including course release time and faculty mentor meetings.

Coordinate classroom space allocation and technology needs for fellow-led courses.

Manage program-related events, workshops, and seminars, including speaker coordination and venue arrangements.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education.

One year of experience working in an office environment.

One year of experience using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or using an equivalent office software.Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree.

Experience working in a college or university.Proposed Salary

Salary is Commensurate with education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Knowledge of computer software systems like Banner and Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.

Knowledge of University policies and procedures.

Skilled in customer service.

Skilled in written and verbal communication.
