Speech and Language Pathologist

Our center is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist who will provide evaluations only to clients with speech or language impairments. The successful candidate will regularly work with a team of professionals to develop intervention plans and utilize a variety of techniques in order to treat clients with various communication disorders. Our Speech Language Pathologist will work with clients of all ages in both group and individual settings.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the goals of the speech therapy program.
• Communicate clearly with parents and interdisciplinary team about the evaluation of the child's speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Conduct productive clinical sessions with patients.
• Be able to define speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Know when and how to refer patients for other services.
• Be knowledgeable about community resources for patients and families.

This position is a contracted per evaluation position. The pay rate is between $100-$125 per evaluation.
