Pathology opening in New YorkPlattsburgh, NYFull TimeSeeking a full-time pathologist to provide anatomic and clinical pathology services at regional hospitals in northern New York. The position is primarily based in Plattsburgh, NY, with the potential for additional diagnostic work in anatomic pathology at the Hospital in Burlington, VT.The successful candidate will join a collegial team of three board-certified pathologists delivering high-quality pathology services at CVPH. There is also an opportunity to serve as the CLIA Medical Director at CVPH for qualified candidates with experience in laboratory management, strong communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork and engagement. Qualifications: Board-certified or Board-eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York Fellowship training in surgical pathology or a subspecialty with Board certification is desirable Eligible for or in possession of New York State Certificate of Qualification(s) Prior community practice experience as a pathologist is highly preferredWhy Plattsburgh?Plattsburgh is a scenic city located on the shores of Lake Champlain, surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains and close to Lake Placid, Montreal, and Burlington, Vermont.
