WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Morristown, New Jersey.

WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a high‑performing L&D team at a respected hospital in Morristown, NJ. The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process.
Job Function: \n
- Shift: 36 hrs | 3x12 Nights | 7:00 PM– 7:00 AM \n
- Assess and categorize patients into the appropriate level of care \n
- Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity \n
- Implement timely interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition \n
- Identify and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately \n
- Administer medications safely in accordance with the Five Rights and infection‑control standards \n
- Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines \n
- Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care \n
Job Requirements:\n
- Current RN License \n
- BLS Certification \n
- ACLS Certification \n
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing \n
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing- preferred \n
