Compensation: $521,850 $823,584 annually + bonuses and benefits

Join a leading health system in southern New Jersey as the Chief of Gastroenterology. This is a high-impact leadership role to build and lead a new academic division of gastroenterology in partnership with a new medical school and established academic institutions. Live and work minutes from NYC, Philadelphia, and the Jersey Shore.

Position Highlights

• Develop and lead a new academic GI division
• Recruit and mentor a multidisciplinary team of physicians, fellows, and staff
• Drive clinical excellence and research initiatives
• Expand advanced GI services including endoscopy
• Participate actively in clinical care, inpatient and outpatient
• Collaborate with system leadership on strategic growth
• Academic partnership with Drexel University

Requirements

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED)
• Active or eligible for New Jersey medical license
• Valid BLS, ACLS, DEA, and CSR/CDS (or willing to obtain)
• Not open to new graduates, APPs, locums, 1099 contracts, or visa sponsorship
• Prior leadership experience or program startup preferred
• History of malpractice or licensing issues may be considered
