American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at an acute care hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active MO or compact RN license.
Details- Work in the Emergency Department of a 233-bed acute care hospital
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (5:45 AM – 6:15 PM)
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) for day shift
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
- Epic EMR — prior experience required
- Navy scrubs required
- No parking costs
- Active MO RN license or compact RN license required; IL candidates may apply with a pending IL license
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department RN experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and PALS
- Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Previous permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Travelers may work at this facility for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
- RTO of up to 7 days per 13-week contract is permitted; no RTO is allowed during the first week of orientation
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
