This is accomplished with a team-oriented and customer-service mindset, and an emphasis on training, education, professional development and career path opportunities for our entire organization./span/pp/ppUnder general supervision, theuspan bSO-04 Lead Food Service Worker/b/span/u will serve as a role model for the team by assisting with the preparation, delivery and presentation of food items as well as coordinates work assignments, monitors food productions and assists with operating the register in a variety of Dining unit(s)./pp/ppLikely daily tasks include:/pullipspanInteracting directly with customers and s/spanerve as a role model for other staff members through regular support and mentoringspan. /span/p/lilipAssisting with the coordination of work assignments, including their own, for the preparation, presentation and/or service of various food items at a variety of stations to ensure timeliness and customer satisfaction/p/lilipAssist in processing sales transactions including cash, check, credit, and meal plan card transactions and ensure established security procedures are followed. Tabulate daily cash and credit card transactions for accuracy and to prepare for deposit./p/lilipMaintaining cleanliness, stock levels and organization of their assigned areas/p/lilipspanAssisting with maintaining portion control that is specified and help maintain production sheets by recording amounts of food prepared, served and left over in a standardized service line worksheet/span/p/lilipspanEnsuring that sanitary, HACCP, and NY State Health codes and procedures are maintained in assigned areas including, but not limited to, temperatures, safe handling procedures, proper sanitary restraints and uniforms. /span/p/li/ulp/ppbibPosting is for multiple positions across Dining with various schedules.
