Assists with the set-up of the assisted living restaurant style dining room prior to meal service and takes resident meal orders in a courteous manner./p pstrongPRINCIPLE DUTIES:/strong/p ul liResponsible for completing pre and post-meal time checklists for skilled nursing trayline and assisted living dining services./li liPrepares meal trays for skilled nursing trayline and achieves competency in understanding of therapeutic diets. Checks meal trays are delivered in accordance with posted therapeutic diet menus./li liTakes assisted living resident orders graciously and courteously, listens with patience./li liClears dishes from dining room tables, before, during and after meal service./li liAssists with the preparation and portioning of nourishments, snacks, salads and desserts./li liSets up tables in the health center dining rooms and breaks down same after meal./li liTransports hot and cold foods to and from the kitchen. Transports all required non-food items to and from the kitchen./li liMaintains station equipment and work area in safe and sanitary conditions per manufacturer guidelines./li liAttends in-service training and education sessions as assigned./li liFollows proper food handling techniques and coordinates the use of time, material and equipment to avoid waste and unnecessary expense./li liMaintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code./li liOther duties as assigned by supervisor./li /ul pstrongWhy you�ll love Park Vista:/strong/p pPark Vista is our 5-star CMS rated health center providing living options in Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care. Will train on-the-job./li liAbility to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
