In this position you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel public areas and providing assistance to the housekeeping team with stocking and delivery of supplies. With our continued growth and project pipeline, we are able to provide our associates with exciting career advancement growth and opportunities./strong/p pstrongGeneral Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liReceive list of assignments and/or shift checklist from MOD and prioritize items./li liRespond promptly to requests from guests and other departments./li liCheck the inventory of cleaning cart and add necessary supplies; transport cart to assigned work areas./li liClean and maintain the appearance of the exterior of hotel including but not limited to, sidewalks, awning poles, signage, and hotel entrance./li liDeep cleaning of assigned areas of hotel including, but not limited to, shampooing of rooms and public area carpets, window washing, light fixtures, and guest elevators./li liClean and maintain back of house area including, but not limited to, employee break room, executive offices, hotel laundry area, and employee restroom./li liDust and polish furniture and remove marks/stains from walls and furnishings./li liRemove all trash, dirty linens, towels, and room service items from public areas./li liVacuum carpets and clean floors./li liDeliver items to guest rooms upon request from front desk./li liEnsure soiled linens are laundered, which may include loading hotel washers and dryers and folding sheets and towels./li liClean guest rooms on occasion./li liNotify maintenance department of needed maintenance or repairs./li liClean and set up function/meeting rooms according to function sheets./li liMove and arrange furniture, turn mattresses./li liEmpty trash receptacles and transport trash to dumpster./li liTake found items to designated lost and found area./li liProvide support to room attendants./li liPerform other duties as assigned./li /ul pstrongRequirements:/strong/p ul liProven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper preferred/li liPerform consistent work at the highest standard/li liRemain discreet and respect privacy of guests/li liWork quickly without compromising quality/li liAbility to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance/li liExcellent customer service skills, pleasant, and friendly/li liDetail oriented and thorough/li liWillingness to work rotational 7-day work cycle, including evenings, weekends, and holidays/li /ul pstrongWe’ve got you covered: Benefits Perks/strong/p ul liMedical Insurance with Company-Funded HRA/li liDental Insurance/li liVision Insurance/li liFlexible Spending Accounts/li liWide-Array of Supplemental Insurance Offerings/li liPaid Time Off Programs/li liEmployee Assistance Program/li li401K Plan – Traditional Roth Options with Employer Match/li liHotel Discount Travel Program for Associates Family/li liExclusive Associate Discounts – Travel, Entertainment, Retail/li liTraining and Development Programs/li liCareer Advancement Opportunities/li /ul p /p pColwen Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.
