We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Materials Analyst to join our dynamic team. nbsp;The Materials Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring the integrity of inventory systems. This role plays a critical part in supporting operational efficiency and minimizing inventory discrepancies./ppstrongLocation and Work Hours:/strong Onsite in Pontiac, MI; Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm/ppstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/pulli id="isPasted"Perform regular inventory counts (cycle counts, physical inventories) and reconcile variances./liliUpdate and maintain inventory databases and systems with accurate stock information./liliMonitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of low stock or potential shortages./liliInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner./liliCollaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to ensure smooth inventory flow./liliEnsure inventory practices comply with company policies and safety regulations./liliPrepare reports related to inventory activities and trends./liliSupport material coordinators with data about inventory/liliWork with supply chain and manufacturing to maintain routing of materials/liliWork with teams to resolve inconsistencies in BOM and Work Order information to assure accuracy of data/liliClose out completed work orders in ERP/liliAll other duties as assigned/li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/ppstrongExperience:nbsp;/strong2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment/ppstrongEducation:nbsp;/strongAssociate degree preferred, diploma or GED required/ppstrongTechnical Skills:/strong/polliProficiency in ERP software, preferably Microsoft AX/liliIntermediate skills in MS Office suite/liliPowered Industrial Truck certification/li/olpstrongKey Competencies:/strong/polliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills/liliExcellent data entry skills with high accuracy/liliOutstanding communication and presentation skills/liliBasic math/li/olpstrongWork Environment/strong: This position operates in both an office and a manufacturing site environment and may be required to work at multiple facilities depending on workload./ppstrongPhysical Demands:/strong The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. nbsp;While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist.
