WPTT is seeking to expand our team!! We are a therapist-owned agency who provide therapeutic services in homes/community-based setting and in our new state of the art facility in Jefferson Valley, NY!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions tailored to each childs unique needs, including motor development, strength training, balance, coordination, and mobility enhancement.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and educators to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Educate and support families and caregivers on home exercises, treatment goals, and long-term care strategies.
  • Document patient progress, maintain detailed treatment records, and adjust therapy plans based on outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings, care planning sessions, and contribute to the development of best practices in pediatric therapy.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, professional standards, and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctorate or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Current Physical Therapist license in the state of NY.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in pediatric physical therapy preferred; new graduates with strong pediatric clinical experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children of all abilities and backgrounds in a clinical or educational setting.

Work Environment:

  • Clinic-based, school-based, or in-home services depending on needs.
  • Physical demands include lifting children, assisting with mobility, and being active during therapy sessions.
