Registered Nurse (RN) Consultant

🔹 Registered Nurse (RN) Consultant  – Flexible Role for Senior Care Agency

Senior Home Care located in Northern Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse licensed in Virginia to serve as a consulting RN for our new non-medical home care agency. 

🩺 This is a part-time, consultant-based role for 3 months, contract will be extended after 3 months. Ideal for an RN seeking flexible hours and supplemental income. 

You will play a key role in supporting the agency’s compliance with Virginia’s licensing standards, especially during the startup and early operations phase.

✅ Responsibilities Include:

• Serving as the RN of record
• Providing feedback and consultation on care-related issues and staff practices
• Assisting in the development, review, and revision of agency policies and procedures related to client care and caregiver conduct
• Participating in the creation and implementation of a Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program
• Reviewing and providing feedback on client intake and in-home assessments as conducted by agency staff
• Supporting the development of individualized care plans for clients based on non-medical care needs and caregiver capabilities
• Advising on caregiver training protocols and documentation best practices
• Serving as a regulatory and clinical resource to the agency owner and staff

✅ Requirements:

• Active RN license in Virginia
• 2+ years of nursing experience (home health, hospice, geriatrics, or supervisory experience preferred)
• Comfortable providing clinical consultation and staff support as needed
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Valid Driver’s License: Reliable personal transportation
• Health Clearances: Current TB Test (within the last 2 years), COVID-19 booster vaccination, and CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Pass Background check
• Bilingual Spanish/English 

💼 Compensation: $800/month flat fee
⏱️ Estimated time commitment: < 15 hours/month
