Gastroenterology Locums - California, Long-Term Schedule

Clinic and lab-based GI assignment in California with a flexible weekday schedule and ongoing blocks near Sonora.

Highlights

• Long-term locums; 2026 blocks available now
• 2-3 lab days and 2-3 clinic days weekly
• Call required on lab days only; 1-2 weekends per month

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient consults and outpatient care
• Endoscopy lab and GI clinic days alternate weekly
• Full support team: 1 GI MD, 1.5 NPs, office and hospital staff
• EPIC EMR and on-call lab team for urgent procedures

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7a-5p
• 2-3 weeknights of call weekly (lab days only)
• 1-2 weekends per month
• Multiple upcoming blocks still open: December-February

Cases and Procedures

• Primarily endoscopy and clinic consults
• 12-15 patients/day in clinic, 10-13 procedures/day in lab
• ERCP optional but not required

Requirements

• Board certified in Gastroenterology
• Active California license
• BLS and DEA required
