Part-Time Hematologist/Oncologist - Brattleboro, VermontLocation: Scenic Southern VermontSetting: Outpatient Clinic with Occasional Inpatient ConsultsPosition Type: Part-Time - Flexible ScheduleEMR: Cerner Community WorksOpen to Commuters: Yes (1+ hour travel acceptable)Clinical Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient cancer care and occasional inpatient consults at a community hospital
  • Average 14-16 patients per day
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of oncology/hematology cases
  • Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Participate in shared on-call duties (negotiable schedule, including occasional weekend rotation)
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (radiologists, surgeons, nurses, support staff)
  • Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis
  • Stay current with oncology best practices and advancements
  • Contribute to a culture of quality, compassion, and teamwork
Candidate Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology - Required
  • Flexible and open to part-time work, long-distance commute, or dual employment
  • Willing to participate in a shared call schedule
