We are actively seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible General Urologist to be part of our collaborative team at a modern facility featuring state-of-the-art surgical suites. Job Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive urological care to both adult and pediatric patients.
- Deliver care in both outpatient clinic settings and inpatient hospital environments.
- Collaborate with an established urologist and a nurse practitioner within a single-site practice.
- Perform surgical procedures in new, state-of-the-art operating rooms.
- Conduct hospital consultations and manage urological emergencies in the emergency department.
- Participate in a light on-call rotation, covering one hospital site for 7 days per month with a 1:4 call schedule.
- Avoid involvement in trauma cases or robotic surgeries.
- Utilize Cerner Community Works for electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
- Maintain a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Manage an average of patients per day.
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a rural, community-focused hospital environment.
- Support departmental succession planning through active engagement and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Candidates with lapsed board certification will be considered if willing to recertify.
- Open to new graduates.
- Not open to long-distance commuters or those seeking alternative shift arrangements.
- Board certified or board eligible in Urology (required).
- Clean malpractice history (required).
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active, required).
- Active Vermont License (must be obtained prior to start, required).
- Completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada (required).
- Board Certification by the American Board of Urology (ABU).
- DEA Certification.
- BLS Certification.
