Locum Tenens Radiologist - General Diagnostic with Light IR
About the Opportunity:
Hospital has an urgent need for a Board Certified Radiologist with proficiency in General Diagnostic imaging and the ability to handle light Interventional Radiology cases. This is a full-time locum tenens opportunity requiring coverage across various shifts.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing interpretation of a broad range of general diagnostic imaging studies, including but not limited to: X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI (if applicable to "light IR").
- Performing light Interventional Radiology procedures (please specify the types of light IR procedures required, e.g., paracentesis, thoracentesis, line placements).
- Participating in a shift-based schedule that includes day, evening, and overnight coverage.
- Providing timely and accurate interpretations.
- Maintaining accurate and timely patient records in the Fuji PACS system.
- Communicating effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Required:
- Board Certification in Radiology.
- Ability to start ASAP.
Preferred:
- Experience with light Interventional Radiology procedures (please specify which ones).
Shift Details: Day, evening, and overnight shifts. Full-time coverage required.
Board Certification: Required.
State License: Active Insert State Here license required.
Willing To License: No.
PACS System: Fuji.
Credentialing Time Frame: 4-6 weeks.
Travel/Lodging: Travel and lodging expenses will be provided.
