Position Overview: Specialty : Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Location : Near Palmer, AK Start Date : ASAP Contract Length : Ongoing Position Type : Locum Tenens Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours Only Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care : Provide outpatient care for a diverse pediatric patient population focusing on developmental-behavioral health. Manage and support children with developmental disorders, behavioral issues, and other related conditions. Work within an established patient base in a supportive and collaborative environment. Schedule : 1-2 weeks of coverage per month. Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with no after-hours or weekend call responsibilities. EMR System : Utilize the Epic EMR system for all patient documentation and management. Certification and Licensing : Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (NDD). An active Alaska medical license is required; unfortunately, licensing reimbursement is not provided for this position. Practice Details: Practice Setting : Outpatient Patients Per Shift : Average of 6 patients per day Rounding : Not required Holidays : Coverage includes New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
