Qualifications / Additional Details Proficiency in Complex CVT Cases: Candidates must be proficient in complex cardiothoracic cases, including coronary artery bypass, carotid endarterectomy, thoracoscopy, bronchoscopy, among others. Established Practice: Join an established, successful practice with the highest possible rating by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons for clinical outcomes in open heart surgery. Mid-Level Support: Practice features a full-time, busy cardiothoracic surgeon, as well as mid-level support providing first assist and rounding. Convenient Location: Practice located on the hospital campus, making surgery, rounds, and clinic efficient. Advanced Facilities: Benefit from an established TAVR program, robotics available, new hybrid OR, and dedicated med/surgical ICU. Board Certification: Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in cardiothoracic surgery. Licensure: Eligible for licensure in Florida.
