Position Overview: Profession : Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Specialty : Anesthesiology Location : Near Tacna, AZ Start Date : ASAP End Date : Ongoing Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours Only Work Details: Practice Setting : Outpatient Surgery Center Operating Rooms : 2 Procedure Room : 1 Technology and Procedures : Advanced technology supporting specialties in Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Urology Proficiency in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and nerve blocks required Schedule : Monday through Friday, with cases scheduled daily unless a provider is on vacation High-paced environment, especially on Wednesdays Patient Load : To be determined based on case volume Requirements: Certification : Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible as a CRNA Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required State License : Must hold an active Arizona license Experience : Competence in nerve block procedures is essential Credentialing Timeframe : Approximately 5 days Additional Information: Holidays : Coverage includes major holidays such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, 4th of July, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day Hospital Privileges : Not required, as the practice setting is exclusively outpatient Temporary Privileges : Not available for this role EMR System : Not applicable This role offers a unique opportunity for a CRNA to provide essential anesthesia services in a cutting-edge outpatient surgery center.
