CLINIC MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Morrow County Health District has an opening for a Occasional Part-time float Medical Assistant who will work at any of our 4 clinics.

Pay rate: $26.08/ hour, standard four-month probationary period.

Job Duties:

• Provide patient care and perform a variety of procedures and assessment duties including vital signs, EKG, Oximetry testing.
• Performs phlebotomy and administers injections.
• Records and updates information in patient's electronic medical record.
• Ensures supplies are adequately stocked and outdates are pulled from supply areas.
• Assists provider as necessary and completes authorizations/referrals as requested.

• Highschool graduate or equivalent required.
• Must be able to obtain a BLS certification.
• Bilingual preferred.
• MA Certification and phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

• This is not a Morrow County Health District benefit eligible position.
