Electronic Shop Foreman

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our workshop. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in managing a team of service technicians. As the Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed efficiently while being involved in every aspect of production, from paperwork, to Shipping and receiving and every process in between.

Hours: 8am-5pm

Pay: Starting at 21/hr BOE.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of service technicians in the shop.
• Ensure that all tools, equipment, and machinery are maintained and in good working order.
• Provide hands-on support with mechanical tasks, including troubleshooting and repairs using hand tools.
• Review schematics and technical documentation to guide repair processes for technician.
• Troubleshooting
• Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards are met.
• Wave soldering
• Packaging - shipping and receiving.
• Documenting-Any changes to schematics, repair work, proceduire and structure.
• Product testing
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
• Foster a collaborative team environment focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role with mechanical knowledge.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment (voltmeters, ohmmeters).
• Familiarity with computer networking concepts is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
