Customer Service Representative

NOTE: This is a climate-controlled, quiet place to work, there is no dry cleaning done at this location. This is a place where clothes are dropped off by the customers, the clothes are taken somewhere else to be cleaned, and they are returned here for the customer to pick up. The job here is working at the cashier station, putting clothes on the racks and into the computer system.

Martinizing Cleaners is looking for energetic, outgoing Customer Service Reps to work a part-time schedule!  We are closed on Sundays.  Must be able to work evenings until 6PM and Saturdays.

Martinizing Cleaners, a nationally leading company in the dry cleaning industry, is hiring. We are locally owned and operated and are seeking motivated employees who can provide customer service in the front counter and assemble and bag orders in the back. We are looking for candidates that have a positive and friendly attitude and provide exceptional service to our customers.

Job Responsibilities - Front:

• Provide warm, engaging interaction with customers
• Provide clear descriptions of Martinizing services and processes to customers
• Check-in customer orders; inspect, sort, & tag for cleaning
• Solve customer problems as needed
• Communicate problems, record issues, keep accurate records
• Process customer payments and discounts
• Perform standard opening and closing duties
• Keep store clean and tidy

Job Responsibilities - Back:

• Inspect finished garments per Martinizing quality control requirements
• Assemble finished garments to order slot
• Bag completed orders
• Register and place bagged orders alphabetically
• Strong attention to detail
• An understanding of textiles and garments is helpful

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 30 lbs

Preferred qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Retail skills: customer service
• Retail skills: point of sale (POS) operation
• Retail skills: addressing customer complaints
