• Job Title: Shipboard Medical Doctor Emergency/Internal Medicine
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Shipboard / International Waters
• Service Setting: Cruise Ship (Inpatient + Outpatient)
• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
• Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Rotational schedule; generally full-time coverage onboard
• On-Call Shift Schedule: 24/7 availability during contract period
• Call Type: In-House
• Call Ratio: 1:1
• Call Response Time: Immediate (onboard presence)

• Minor Surgery (e.g., suturing, lesion removal)
• Foreign body removal
• Simple fracture immobilization
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active, unrestricted medical license (home country/state)
• Board: Completion of a recognized medical specialty training program in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, or General Surgery
• DEA: Active (if applicable by origin country)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS (valid for duration of contract)

• Provide medical care to crew and guests onboard
• Support Staff Captain and Senior Doctor in health matters, outbreak prevention, and reporting
• Perform minor surgical procedures as needed
• Maintain clinical documentation and health surveillance compliance
• Assist in emergency response and collaborate with ship leadership as needed

Lodging: Single cabin onboard
Meals: 3 meals per day provided onboard
Uniforms: 3 formal uniforms + 3 scrubs (overnight use)

• Simple fracture immobilization
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 years acute care post-training
1 year ACLS experience
- 1 year broad diagnostic/treatment experience
