Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)
Assignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule\n5x8 hour Days, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Every third week/weekend on call.
Job Description\nThe Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care during complex diagnostic procedures in a fast-paced environment. The role involves ensuring patient safety, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting physicians throughout procedures.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Prepare patients for complex diagnostic procedures. \n
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer sedation under established protocols. \n
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology, CT, and ultrasound procedures. \n
- Ensure a focus on patient safety throughout the entire process. \n
- \n
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology RN. \n
- 1 year of recent travel nursing experience required. \n
- Current RN license required. \n
- CPR, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. \n
- Experience with conscious sedation administration. \n
- Proficient in interventional and diagnostic procedural experience. \n
