Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a night shift position requiring BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certifications with a minimum of 4 years of experience.

Details\n

\n
• Work in a 46-bed Emergency Department
\n
• High-volume ED with approximately 140 patient visits per day
\n
• Patient population includes chest pain, stroke, sepsis, cardiac arrest, trauma, respiratory illness, and respiratory arrest
\n
• Patient ratio of 1:4
\n
• Epic EMR used
\n
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:30–08:00)
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
\n
• Floating within the unit and specialty as needed
\n
• No on-call required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active MD or Compact RN license
\n
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), PALS, and TNCC
\n
• Minimum of 4–5 years of ED nursing experience
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• 3 years of travel nursing experience preferred
\n

Additional Information\n

• First-time travelers with 5 or more years of ED experience will be considered
\n
• Any time-off requests must be disclosed upfront at the time of consideration
