Registered Nurse - LDRP

This is a night shift position, requiring 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00.

Job Description\n

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team specializing in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) care. The successful candidate must be comfortable alternating between Labor, Triage, and Mother-Baby care postpartum. Our nursing staff rotates through various roles, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the LDRP process.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide care for 3-4 couplets in the postpartum unit and 1-2 patients in labor.
\n
• Administer medications and manage patient care congruent with the needs of the unit.
\n
• Assist in labor delivery and the recovery process, including cesarean section recovery.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
\n
• Participate in on-call hours as needed, typically averaging 16-20 hours in a 6-week schedule.
\n

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in LDRP nursing required.
\n
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
\n
• Certifications including NRP, AWHONN, FHM, and OB surgical recovery (C-section) are highly preferred.
\n
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
\n
