Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of large-scale projects spanning multiple departments. Assignments may include launching new sites (involving coordination across 10–14 workstreams), staffing and training programs, licensing and compliance initiatives, and other cross-functional efforts. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and organizational skills who can work effectively across diverse teams and manage standardized project deliverables.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end management of complex projects across multiple functional areas.
- Coordinate workstreams, timelines, and stakeholder communications for large-scale programs (e.g., site launches, HR/training, licensing, and regulatory initiatives).
- Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and manage risks and issues to ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate collaboration across internal teams, third-party vendors, and executive stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent documentation, reporting, and adherence to standardized project methodologies.
- Track and report on key performance metrics and milestones.
- Provide guidance and direction to cross-functional team members and project contributors.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 8+ years of project management experience, preferably within large-scale or regulated environments.
- Strong consulting background or experience working in fast-paced consulting environments.
- Prior experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or life sciences is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage with staff at all organizational levels.
- Experience managing standardized project deliverables and enterprise-level program structures.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP certification preferred.
