In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist who help individuals, families, and couples address and overcome various mental health challenges. As a Provisional Therapist, your primary responsibility is to assess, diagnose, and treat clients/patients based on their individual needs/pp/pp/ppbKey Responsibilities:/b/pullipProvide individual, group, family and/or other practical counseling in a variety of settings under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist in order to meet the needs of the client/patient and their goals of treatment./p/lilipComplete intake/screening and/or comprehensive assessment process within appropriate time frames as designated by state regulatory/accreditation/agency standards./p/lilipDetermine and document diagnosis based on comprehensive assessment./p/lilipDevelop treatment plans for clients/patients in accordance with state regulatory/accreditation/agency standards that demonstrate individualization and evolution based on information gathered from assessment./p/lilipParticipate in clinical staffing/treatment meetings, providing feedback on all pertinent cases./p/lilipResponsible for meeting department-specific Collaborative Service Goal (CSG) requirements./p/lilipWork closely with internal departments to ensure authorized services are approved and adequate information is provided within specified time frames./p/lilipDocument all services provided in accordance with state regulatory/accreditation/agency standards./p/lilipEnsure that services are entered within the appropriate time frame, appropriate  format, notes refer to treatment plans, etc./p/lilipCorrect any file/charting deficiencies within the appropriate time frame./p/lilipAssist clients/patients through the transition process and complete final correspondence such as transition summary, plan, letter, etc./p/lilipComplete all mandatory training, meeting state regulatory/accreditation/agency standards./p/lilipRepresent the agency within the community in a professional manner./p/lilipMaintain positive, professional relationships with referral sources, clients/patients, and coworkers, adhering to Code of Ethics and agency policies/procedures./p/lilipHandle crisis situations as they arise. Participates in or coordinates emergency services in order to provide rapid aid in cases of crisis./p/lilipProvide clinical consultation to treatment team members when necessary./p/lilipDemonstrate interest in long term and short term goals and objectives of the company./p/lilipOther duties as assigned by leadership./p/li/ulp/ppbEducation and Experience:/b/pullipMust possess at least a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field./p/lilipHolds provisional licensure with the applicable board of professional registration for the state that they are practicing as a professional counselor or social worker./p/lilipProvisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Provisionally Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT)/p/lilipMust be able to obtain full licensure with the applicable board of professional registration for the state they are practicing as a professional counselor or social worker.
