pPosition Summary /p pAs a Room Attendant/Housekeeper, you are responsible for cleaning guest rooms and other public areas to uphold the hotel’s service standards. You are a team player who is dedicated to completing all job functions while maintaining excellent customer service and positive coworker interactions. The Room Attendant/Housekeeper should enthusiastically carry out all instructions from supervisors and follow safety procedures to provide the most enjoyable guest experience. /p p /p pEssential Functions /p ul liEnsure bathrooms are clean and fully stocked with guest supplies. /li liEnsure beds are properly made with appropriate clean linen and pillow. /li liDust and clean walls, windows, inside of sliding door. /li liReport matters needing maintenance and items that need to be removed from rooms, such as refrigerators, rollaways and cribs.  /li liComplete special projects of a deep cleaning nature. /li liEnsure linen cart is stocked with needed supplies and tools.  /li liVacuum, mop and clean floors.  /li liAnticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests service requests. /li liMonitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas including guestroom floors, hallways and public areas, stairwells, linen closets, vending areas, and foyers. /li liUse correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements. /li liRemove all dirty terry and linen and replace with clean par to designated layout. /li liReplace all guestroom items required by SOP and room type. /li liRemove all trash, dust, debris and foreign particles from furniture, drapes, mini bar, doors, walls and fixtures. /li liComplete reoccurring projects to ensure rooms are housekeeping department cleanliness. /li liRefurnishes room with supplies, towels etc. as required.  /li liReturn and restock cart at end of shift. /li liTurn over any lost and found items from guest rooms to the Supervisor. /li liFollow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards. /li liFollow safety and security procedures. /li liWork cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team. /li liFollow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations. /li liAdhere to attendance and reliability standards. /li liFollow all additional duties as assigned by management. /li /ul p /p p /p pSkills and Abilities /p ul liUnderstand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel. /li liMust be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision. /li liMust be detail-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently. /li liMust be able to speak and understand and communicate the primary language(s) used in the workplace. /li liMust possess excellent communication, follow up, and organizational. /li liMust have the ability to push, pull bend, squat and lift on a regular basis up to 50 pounds. /li liSafety requirements of PPE as needed for duty assigned and with use of required tools and equipment. /li liMust be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up. /li liBe a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment. /li liFollow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. /li liExert physical effort in transporting up to 50 pounds. /li liEndure various physical movements throughout the work areas. /li liSatisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding. /li /ul p /p pJob Qualifications/Requirements /p pExperience: Minimum 3 months experience in housekeeping or relevant experience /p pAdditional: Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs /p p /p p /p pPhysical Requirements /p pThe minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to: /p ul liMust be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests /li liAbility to stand for extended periods of time /li liAbility to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation /li liAbility to bend and twist, push, and pull, stoop, and kneel /li liAscend and descend a ladder /li /ul p /p pReasonable Accommodation Statement /p pTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
