Leroy - Fenton, Michigan 48430-2762p style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:left"bJob Description:/b/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ppbPosition Summary:/b/ppThis role is responsible to lead the eCommerce process of receiving grocery orders from customers online, ensuring orders are picked, properly bagged and stored (refrigerator/freezer as needed), and in place for pick-up in a timely manner./pp/ppbHere’s what you’ll do: /b/pullipResponsible to lead the eCommerce process for receiving customer#39;s online orders and picking or delegating picking of orders./p/lilipReview customer comments/special instructions, as applicable, to ensure product selected matches customer#39;s request; follow up on issues as necessary (i.e., product substitution, etc.)./p/lilipEnsure quality control and handle products carefully, specifically perishables and delicate items, during selection of items and packing of products to minimize damage and to ensure customer satisfaction/p/lilipScan order products, confirm order totals (check-out) for products priced by the pound (i.e., produce, deli, and meat/seafood) and substituted items./p/lilipFollow proper procedures for storing orders at proper temperature (refrigerator/freezer as needed)./p/lilipReport customer issues, shorts, overages, damages to store management immediately./p/lilipResearch and resolve customer complaints/problems in an appropriate and timely manner./p/lilipResponsible to provide focused and effective customer service./p/lilipImplement the Company service program(s) and model high standards of service to achieve positive customer satisfaction./p/lilipFollow all PPE and Safety Guidelines/p/lilipFollow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations/p/lilipFollow Guest Experience Guidelines/p/lilipMay be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need/p/lilipAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed/p/li/ulp/ppbHere’s what you’ll need: /b/pullipHigh school diploma or GED (preferred)/p/lilipOne year of retail or related experience preferred./p/lilipStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers./p/lilipStrong organization and prioritization skills./p/lilipAbility to make decisions and solve problems./p/lilipSuggestive Selling/Knowledge of Products /p/lilipDetail Oriented/p/lilipAbility to develop knowledge of products and store layout for efficient picking procedures./p/lilipProficient in MS office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)./p/lilipAbility to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the department./p/li/ulp/ppbPhysical Requirements:/b/ppThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
