pbDuties and Responsibilities/b/p ol liProvides food, water, and basic husbandry care for a variety of animal species as trained by the animal care technician./li liCleans and sanitizes cages according to prescribed standards./li liObserves animals on a daily basis to assess health, environmental conditions, and social environment, and advises the animal care technician if any problems or critical health observations occur./li liMaintains lab, storage areas, and treatment rooms including sweeping and mopping floors as needed/li liWatering of greenhouse plants as needed and observing aquaponics system for any possible problems. Feed fish if necessary./li liPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned./li liMust be reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented./li /ol pRequirements/p ul liCurrently enrolled as a student at Ithaca College/li liPrior experience handling small rodents is preferred, but not essential/li liPreference given to students majoring in Biology, Biochemistry, or ENVS/li /ul pbInstructions to Applicants: /bPlease apply using the Recruitment Cloud.
