We are currently recruiting Foremen for our Underground Division based out of our Detroit office but projects may be coast to coast including opportunities for work in Canada. Projects generally consist of installation of lining systems, coatings, structural repairs within various underground structures such as pipelines, tunnels, vaults and manholes/ppResponsibilities include but are not limited to:/pullipOnsite supervision of field crews involving assigning and managing multiple small teams/p/lilipDevelop crew assignments for various simultaneous tasks working in different locations/p/lilipEnsuring work is completed according to plans, specifications and quality control plans/p/lilipCompleting daily field reports, purchase orders, delivery tickets and speed memos for customers and internal management/p/lilipEnsuring crews are operating tools and equipment in a safe, proper and productive manner/p/lilipAssisting Project Managers in developing work sequences and schedules/p/li/ulpCandidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this exciting position based in our growing Underground Division:/pullip5#43; years of experience in general construction with at least 2 of those years in a Leadman or similar position supervising a crew of 10 or more/p/lilipDemonstrated ability to read, interpret and execute work in accordance with construction drawings and contract specifications/p/lilipEstablished commitment to safety/p/lilipDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the customer, crew and project teams/p/lilipBasic computer skills and construction math skills/p/lilipPreference given to those with experience working with FRP and concrete restoration on underground or civil/utility projects./p/li/ulp/ppbAs we are a union contractor, you will either need to be a union member or interested in participating in the union to be considered./b/pp/ppiWe anticipate this position paying between span$34-60/hr/span based off trade, experience, and project location./i/pp/ppThe minimum requirements for this position include the ability to pass a standard MVR check and have reliable transportation. Record of previous safety training is preferred.
