Start your adventure with Bass Pro Shops, apply today!/pp/ppbWAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE/b/pp/ppbLOCATION:/b Springfield, MO/ppbHOURLY BASE PAY RATE: /b$16.25br / /ppbSCHEDULES:/b/ppbspan class="emphasis-3"iFull Time Opportunities/i/span/bbr /1st Shift Sunday-Wednesday 6am-4:30pm/pp1st Shift Thursday-Saturday 6am-6:30pm/pp2nd Shift Sunday-Thursday 4:30pm-1am/ppbiAll shifts will require mandatory overtime as needed/i/b/pp/ppbiuPOSITION SUMMARY:/u/i/b/ppThe DC Outfitter must have physical stamina and strength to be able to perform the various duties in the Distribution Center.  Outfitter will be cross trained in other departments as needed and may be asked to carry out special projects./pp/ppbiuESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:/u/i/b/pullipRepetitive lifting up to 50 lbs./p/lilipOutfitter will perform manual or physical job duties, based upon DC needs./p/lilipLoads or unloads trailers by hand, i.e. up to and including, grills, tree stands, safes, kayaks, etc./p/lilipUses scanners to read bar codes on labels and product./p/lilipFills customer orders by inspecting merchandise and matching merchandise to order./p/lilipStocks merchandise to ensure availability of items./p/lilipPacks customer orders for shipment./p/lilipSelects and verifies product for fulfillment and routes to the next area or packs for shipping./p/lilipAssigns and reassigns pick locations based on information from reports and maintains an accurate listing of all locations./p/lilipSorts merchandise as appropriate./p/lilipProcesses, tickets, or sorts merchandise for retail locations./p/lilipPerforms returns processing for customer orders./p/lilipCleans and repairs different reel models and determines if repair is under warranty./p/lilipMaintains work area by cleaning as needed. /p/lilipPerforms manual or physical job duties, based upon DC needs./p/lilipALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED/p/li/ulpbr /biuspanEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:/span/u/i/b/pullipMust be 18 years of age./p/li/ulp/ppbiuKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:/u/i/b/pullipProduction standards and accuracy are especially important aspects of the position that are closely monitored./p/lilipAbility to communicate with fellow employees in a courteous and professional manner and be a team spanplayer.   /span/p/lilipMust have multitasking skills/p/lilipCommitment to safety rules and procedures/p/lilipAvailability to work a flexible schedule with mandatory overtime, when spanscheduled.  /span/p/lilipAbility to pay close attention to detail and must work well with numbers./p/lilipGood verbal and written communication skills/p/li/ulp/ppbiuTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:/u/i/b/pullipNo travel is required for this position./p/li/ulp/ppbiuPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:/u/i/b/pullipMust be able to meet the physical demands of the job, i.e. repetitive walking, standing, kneeling, bending, stretching, and climbing up and down step ladder for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled./p/lilipMust be able to repetitively lift, push, pull and carry 50 lbs. for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled./p/lilipGood hand-eye coordination./p/li/ulp/ppbiuWORK ENVIRONMENT:/u/i/b/pullipRequired to work indoor in a spannon-climate-controlled/span environment./p/li/ulp/ppbiuINDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT/u/i/b:/pullipPerforms tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures.
