May include but not be limited to: EED’s E modules:nbsp; Introduction to Special Education, Adapting Teaching Techniques to Meet Individual Needs, Supporting Positive Behavior, and SPED Eligibility Categories or an alternate training opportunity provided by the Special Services Administrator.nbsp;/li liAbility to complete training specific to student needs./li /ol nbsp;br strongResponsibilities: /strong olliPerform duties within Special Education throughout KIBSD./li liWork with students identified with intensive needs (life skills, autism, behavior support)./li liMay assist and support students with personal care and hygiene./li liMay transport, supervise, and support students in job sites./li liWork under the supervision of the teacher/supervisor assigned to support IEP goals and objectives./li liMaintain confidentiality of students, staff, school business, materials, and information./li liUnder the supervision of the teacher/supervisor, secure and assist in the development of subject matter materials and use all types of instructional equipment./li liAssist students with work or projects assigned./li liDuplicate materials for classroom use. Distribute, collect and assist in correcting materials, and assist in instructional record keeping tasks.
