Nights and weekends are required./b/span/pp/ppbuPOSITION SUMMARY:/u/b/ppThe Bartender ensures customer and server drink orders are prepared in a timely manner according to established guidelines while maintaining bar cleanliness standards./pp/ppbuESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:/u/b/pullipSupports a strong commitment to world class guest service and ensures a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience for restaurant patrons./p/lilipFunctions as location’s expert on bar systems, recipes, procedures and knowledge of liquor, wine and beer served./p/lilipCompletes all training requirements./p/lilipGreets bar guests promptly./p/lilipUses suggestive selling techniques./p/lilipRecords beverage order, enters order into computer system, prepares drink in accordance to established guidelines and delivers drink to guest./p/lilipMonitors guest’s drinks to anticipate re-order requests./p/lilipCollects monies owed and performs guest check accountability procedures; maintains a balanced Bar drawer; performs tip declaration activities./p/lilipPrepares and completes orders for Servers./p/lilipWashes bar service ware; sets up, cleans, stocks and maintains bar area and bar cooler./p/lilipPerforms Server responsibilities as needed; handles ‘To Go’ and Associate food orders./p/lilipPerforms Inventory activities as scheduled./p/lilipUnderstands and executes procedures for verifying guest’s ability to legally purchase and consume alcohol and knows how to prevent a guest from over indulging./p/lilipALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED./p/li/ulp/ppbuspanEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:/span/u/b/pullipHigh school diploma/GED preferred./p/lilipAt least one year of experience working as a barista, bartender, and/or food preparation./p/li/ulp/ppbuKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY/u/b/pullipExperience in and passion for consumer service/p/lilipWillingness to learn new skills and be a team player/p/lilipAn attitude of flexibility and mindfulness about the team approach/p/lilipDelivering quality beverages consistently and according to shop standards/p/lilipAbility to handle all required tasks around handling cash register/p/lilipLearn all menus and is able to communicate all food and beverage offerings/p/lilipClean and clear service areas/p/lilipPerform correct POS transactions, closing duties and accounting procedures as required/p/lilipAbility and desire to obey all local, state, and federal laws/p/lilipAbility to memorize and become knowledgeable of menu items/p/li/ulp/ppbuTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:/u/b/pullipN/A/p/li/ulp/ppbuPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:/u/b/pullipRegular movement: walking, standing, bending, climbing, stooping, lifting (up to 50lbs), etc./p/li/ulp/ppbuINDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT/u/b:/pullipspanPerforms tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
