Neonatology Nurse Practitioner - Now Hiring

Location: In North Carolina, close proximity to Charlotte which allows visitors to take advantage of big-city amenities while enjoying a comfortable stay in a place with small-city charm.

Facility: Medical center consist of

• 16 emergency department treatment rooms
• 54 inpatient beds
• 48 medical telemetry beds
• 6 labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum
• 12-bed observation unit
• 2 operating rooms
• C-section suite
• Endo/Bronchoscopy suite
• Imaging Suite - Nuclear stress test, CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound
• A brand new, 10-bed LDRP Level-I Nursery, scheduled to open late 2024!

Opportunity:

• Daily rounds in house and will take call from homeThis Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year
• An average daily census of about 5 newborns
• NNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from home
• Practitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs
• Team will consist of 4 NNPs with the sister LEVEL III NICU staffed by 2 Neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs who provide care at CaroMont Regional Medical Center- Gastonia, which is only 7 miles away
