Weeknight Call: 12-hour on-call shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Job Responsibilities: Schedule: Consistent 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM shifts, with additional on-call responsibilities. Case Mix: Includes General Surgery, Endoscopy, Vascular, OB, Orthopedic, Bariatric Surgery, and UroGynecology. Note: No hearts, neurosurgery, or thoracic cases. Hospital Setting: The role is based in a hospital setting with CRNA supervision by one physician for every three CRNAs. Procedures: Spinal epidurals are required. Experience with a low volume of pediatric cases is expected. Delivery Volume: Approximately 100 deliveries per month, with a low epidural rate due to a large midwifery program. The cesarean section rate is around 15%. Credentialing and Licensing: Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 months, with expedited processing available for candidates with an active New York license. EMR: Epic Certification Requirements: ACLS: Required BLS: Required NBCRNA: Required PALS: Required State License: Active New York medical license required Facility Information: Practice Setting: Hospital-based practice with coverage limited to one campus.
