Hospitalist Position Details: Average Daily Census: Hospitalists manage an average daily census of 25 patients, ensuring comprehensive care and attention to individual patient needs. Intensive Care Unit: The facility boasts a 9-bed ICU, with plans to expand to 15 beds in April, providing critical care services to patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. Emergency Department: Collaborate with the emergency department team in a Level Three Trauma Center, managing a 20,000 annual ED volume across 16 ED beds. Telehealth Coverage: Hospitalists provide 12 hours of telehealth nocturnist coverage, ensuring continuous care and support for patients during overnight hours. Shift Schedule: Enjoy a 7 on 7 off rotation with 24-hour shifts, providing flexibility and work-life balance for physicians.
