Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- ASCP certification
- Prior lab experience and knowledge

Duties
- This generalist position performs clinical testing in all laboratory areas for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. The technologist obtains or receives specimens, performs clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures, understands method principles, performs quality control, performs preventative maintenance, and interprets results as to accuracy, acceptability and critical limits. The technologist works independently, organizing work to meet job competence.
- Adheres to hospital and laboratory policies and procedures including but not limited to safety, infection control, personnel, and disaster. This position requires effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- The employee must conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the philosophy of the hospital.
