SMART is actively recruiting for a locum OB Hospitalist to provide coverage for a client of ours in Merced, CA. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and ongoing during permanent recruitment.Qualifications:Active CA License and DEA required.BC/BE OB/GYNMust be available for at least 1, 24hr shift per month.Job Summary:Shift times: 24hr in-house call beginning at 8aCall Details: Call is in-house with 2nd OB in the community available as backup.Coverage Model: MD only staff at this time.Required procedures:C/Sections, Operative Vaginal Deliveries, D&C, Laparotomy/ Laparoscopy for emergency Gyn surgeryAnnual Patient Volume: 100015% of births are c-sectionsAvg. 200 deliveries per monthAvg.
