SPECIALTY: GENERAL SURGERY (Inpatient) LOCATION: DELAWARE JOB TYPE: LOCUMS JOB NUMBER: 48946 DESCRIPTION: EMR: EPICTraditional on-call responsibilities for a general surgeon include emergency department calls/consults and hospital calls/consults.Trauma Level III.Advanced Support Staff: Technicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians, and Nursing staffFacility (Seasonal influx): There may be an increase in patient cases during the summer tourist season.REQUIRED: DE state license; active, unrestricted. IMLC LOQ candidates are welcome to apply.Board Certified SurgeryDEA, BLS.Cases: appendicitis, bowel blockages, broken limbs, auto accident injuries, crime victims, fall victims, and post-operative readmissionsMinimum commitment: 6-months. COMPENSATION:Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)Malpractice insurance provided.SCHEDULE: Typically, 7 AM to 7 AM, 24-hr shifts. Weekends may start at 5 pm.
