Position Overview: Profession: Physician Specialty: Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine Default Rate Type: Daily Emergency/Temp Privileges: No Shift Type: Days Shift Description: PRN Basis: As needed basis Shifts: TBD Half Day: 4 hours or less Full Day: 4-8 hours Job Details: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Board Certification: Required Certification Eligibility: Board Eligible State License: South Dakota Duties and Responsibilities: Perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams. Conduct interview-based assessments with physical evaluations including range of motion and muscle strength testing. Evaluate traumatic brain injuries and other neurological conditions. No prescribing or treatment required. Utilize a Goniometer for assessments. Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions required. Proficiency in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. Must own a personal laptop (NO Apple Laptops/MACs). Training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Submit Reporting/DBQs within 48 hours upon exam completion, adhering to standardized form requirements. Evaluations to be completed in provider portal and records are reviewed. Provider needed: more than 5 Additional Requirements: Board Certification or eligibility in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R.
