Oshkosh manufacturer is looking to add to their expanding assembly team. This first shift, temp to hire opportunity will offer you the opportunity to work in a great team environment, with ample advancement and growth opportunities.

Position – Mechanical/Electrical assembly

Job Location – Oshkosh, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Temp to hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift

Starting Pay – $19 to $22/hr

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience

As an assembler you will be following blueprints and assembly machine parts according to customer specifications

Responsibilities

- Assembles components, such as tracks, bases, tables, columns, shuttle tables, oil reservoir tanks, and special components prior to completing total assembly of machine.

- Prepares and installs electrical components and hydraulic tubing and systems for machine operation.

- Checks and resolves minor operational problems and works with engineering to solve fit or mechanical problems.

- Powers up newly assembled machines to see if machine and/or parities equipment performs as required.

Qualifications

1.Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, hydraulic circuit prints, and elementary diagrams

2. Ability to use various measuring instruments

3. Demonstrated knowledge of machine operation

4. Ability to work on or beneath machines and in close quarters when performing the testing process

5. Ability to recognize applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy in the facility, and the specific methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control by receiving Lockout/Tagout Training
