Locum Tenens Opportunity Cardiologist (Near Dixon, MT)

A medical facility near Dixon, Montana is currently seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens position. This opportunity allows you to provide both inpatient and outpatient care, assisting a community in need while exploring the natural beauty of Montana. Here are the details:

• Patients per Shift: 9-12 patients

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for both inpatient and outpatient cardiology patients
• Perform non-invasive cardiology procedures such as:
  • Echocardiography
  • Transesophageal Echo (TEE)
  • Nuclear cardiology
  • PA catheter placement
  • Cardiac catheterization (diagnostic)
  • Invasive procedures like STEMI care
• On-call duties will involve both phone consultations and patient follow-ups.

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certification: Yes (Internal Medicine - Cardiology)
• Fellowship: Preferred
• Must be comfortable handling both inpatient and outpatient cardiology services.
• Ability to handle a range of cases, from routine echocardiography to invasive diagnostic cardiology.
• Experience with Epic EMR system is beneficial.

Additional Details:

• Shift Schedule: Rotating schedule with clinical hours and on-call responsibilities
• Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
• Support Staff: Includes RN and MA, specifics to be determined
