Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support the financial operations of a private family office. This position centers on full-charge bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting for multiple individuals and entities, along with administrative support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, discreet, and comfortable operating in a polished, private office setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping for multiple family members and business entities.
• Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Reconcile bank and credit accounts monthly.
• Prepare routine financial reports and assist with budgeting and cash flow tracking.
• Process payroll for household and office employees.
• Support annual tax filings in coordination with external accountants.
• Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
• Support investment reporting and documentation.
• Administrative tasks such as mail and scheduling as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Bill.com or Xero is a plus.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office or other major accounting packages.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Discretion and sound judgment in a confidential environment.
• Professional demeanor and comfort working in a small, onsite team.
• Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals is preferred.

Compensation

• $80,000 – $95,000, depending on experience.
