Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, ensure food safety compliance, and drive team performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in WMS systems, food logistics, and managing warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities

Labor Management

• Coordinate and assign daily tasks to team members

• Lead, mentor, and coach warehouse associates

• Participate in hiring, performance reviews, and associate development

Operations & Quality

• Oversee receiving, stacking, picking, staging, and shipping of goods

• Inspect shipments for accuracy and damage

• Ensure adherence to productivity goals and space optimization practices

Inventory & Documentation

• Assist with physical inventories and maintain product locator systems

• Complete reports accurately and on time

• Analyze daily and weekly performance metrics

Compliance & Safety

• Maintain OSHA-compliant practices and cleanliness

• Support food safety programs including AIB, SQF, and audits

• Monitor equipment safety and functionality

Communication

• Serve as the liaison between employees and management

• Lead staff meetings and relay warehouse and brand updates

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent supervisory experience in a warehouse setting

• 3+ years total warehouse experience (food industry/logistics strongly preferred)

• WMS system experience – required

• Physically able to lift 50 lbs. and operate heavy equipment

• Experience writing SOPs and supporting audit/compliance programs

• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Must pass a background check and drug test
