American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital position requiring 2+ years of experience, Cerner proficiency, and an active Indiana license.
Details- Short-term acute care hospital setting in a Nuclear Medicine department
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Day shift, 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Cerner EMR required
- May float to affiliate hospitals based on facility need
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Tech experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Active Indiana or Compact RN license required in hand prior to consideration; pending state licensure is not accepted — license required if applicable
- Current BLS, CNMT or NMTCB certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 2 supervisor references required for consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Indiana residents are considered local candidates and are eligible for this position
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
- Former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break
- Royal blue scrubs required
