Drafter/Designer 20777

GEE Group is seeking a Drafter/Designer with a sharp eye for detail, strong drafting skills, and the confidence to work directly with clients. If you know your way around architectural blueprints and custom millwork, this role puts you right in the driver’s seat.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze complex project drawings and engineer custom millwork solutions
• Draft and maintain technical drawings for both new and existing designs
• Program equipment based on project requirements
• Visit job sites to manage scope, schedule, and budget
• Troubleshoot project issues quickly and effectively
• Coordinate closely with internal teams and customers to ensure accuracy and quality

What You Bring:

• Strong drafting experience
• Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints
• Familiarity with building materials and millwork fabrication standards (including AWI)
• Understanding of hardware, specifications, and custom fabrication
• Strong communication skills—both with internal teams and external clients
• Professional presence; comfortable interfacing with customers directly
